Canyoning

kanjoning

Canyoning is an adventure that consists of walking on a mountain riverbed. Canyoning involves descending on the various waterfalls, but also overcome the natural barrier of rocks to less accessible rock. Briefly, it is the combination of walking through water and rapids, climbing, diving, swimming and rock climbing. There are canyons of rivers Cvrcka, Švrakava and Ugar. The time required for the adventure is 2 hours for Švrakava up to 10 hours for Cvrcka, which depends on the river distance, accessibility and length of route. The offer includes: appetizers and refreshments, transportation to canyoning starting point and return, basic training, all necessary equipment (neoprene suits and shoes, helmets, life jackets, ropes ...), ceritified and professional guides and lunch.

Canyon of the Cvrcka river is 17 km long and from 6 to 10 hours is required for the tour. It is also possible to arrange a short tour. With its numerous waterfalls, cascades, "boilers", steep cliffs and natural waterslides this location makes a real challenge for fans of canyoning. Crvrcka valley is attractive for hiking (the entire length of the canyon is followed by the footpath), with picturesque landscapes and authentic mills.

Canyon of the Ugar river with endemic species of trout, is a real challenge for fans of canyoning, caving and fishing.

Canyon of the Švrakava river is more than 500 m long and the time of flooding is technically very demanding. For those more experienced looking for more adrenaline, it is a real challenge. Trail tours range from one to three hours.
